Buffalo Bisons News Release

Buffalo Bisons outfielder VALENTINO PASCUCCI has hit three home runs in the Bisons game against the Indianapolis Indians on Friday night from Coca-Cola Field.

Pascucci becomes just the third Bisons player to hit three home runs in one at Coca-Cola Field. The last to accomplish the feat was catcher Dusty Wathan, who hit three out on June 2, 2005 against Toledo. Buffalo Baseball Hall of Famer Jeff Manto hit three home runs at Coca-Cola Field on July 14, 1997.

Pascucci becomes the seventh different Bisons player to hit three home runs in a game. Russell Branyan accomplished the feat twice, both times on the road.

Pascucci hit a three-run home run off Indianapolis starter Brian Burres in the first inning to give Buffalo the early lead. He then hit a solo home run off Burres in the third inning and launched a solo shot to lead off the eighth inning off reliever Vinnie Chulk.

Pascucci's third home run of the night was the 200th minor league home run. Pascucci 200 home runs are the ninth most among all active players.
