Mondays' game against Buffalo got off to a great start as Josh Reddick hit the first pitch of the game for a home run off eventual winner Dillon Gee. It was all Buffalo after that, as the Herd mauled the PawSox 12-4.
Reddick wound up with a pair of solo homers and Gustavo Molina added a solo home run as well. Jeremy Hermida had 3 singles and an RBI. Kris Johnson (4-13) took the loss, allowing 4 runs, (1 earned) in 4 plus innings.
Hideki Okajima was ineffective in his second appearance as a ML rehabber. The lefty worked a third of an inning, surrendering 4 runs on 4 hits.
Russ Adams was a star for Buffalo, smacking a pair of two run home runs. The Bisons amassed 15 base hits in the rout.
The series continues on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. Adam Mills (2-9, 5.31) will face lefty Michael Antonini (1-1, 4.50).
