TODAY'S GAME: This evening, the Buffalo Bisons take on the Durham Bulls in the third game of a four-game series from Dunn Tire Park (7:05 p.m.). The Herd will look to bounce back after dropping the first two games of the series. The Bisons' current homestand will last only four games as the Herd is in the midst of 15 of 19 games on the road, June 7-26 (3-5 so far). On the hill tonight for the Bisons will be LHP David Huff. The young gun struck out seven on Wednesday in Lehigh Valley in just his second start at the Triple-A level. Durham will counter with RHP Jeff Niemann.

BRINGING THE HEAT: In his first two games with the Bisons, LHP David Huff has struck out twelve batters in eleven innings of work. The young pitcher has worked five innings in each of first two Triple-A starts. Prior to his promotion from Double-A Akron on June 6, Huff recorded 62 strikeouts in 65.2 innings with an Eastern League-best 1.92ERA.

RBI-GUY: With yesterday's two-run home run, OF Jason Cooper pasted Buffalo Baseball Hall of Famer INF Jeff Manto for second place in career RBI during the Modern Era. Cooper who now has 31RBI on the season and 208RBI during his five-year career with the Herd. The blast was also his 48th as a Bison, moving him past DH Ernie Young and into 6th place. Since June 11, Cooper has hit .428 (6-14) with two home runs, five RBI and five walks.

ONE'S NOT ENOUGH: INF Asdrubal Cabrera now has recorded five multi-hit efforts in his first six games with the Herd. Since Wednesday, he has averaged .458 (11-24) with three doubles and one RBI. Cabrera made his debut in the Indians organization with the Bisons in 2006 as a 20-year old. He played 52 games that year and hit .263 (50-190) with the Herd.

BISONS BITS: The Bisons haven't lost a series against Durham in Dunn Tire Park since 1999. The Bisons are 21-13 against the Bulls at home since 2000...OF Todd Linden hit his third home run as a Bison and collect his ninth RBI yesterday afternoon...He is 10 for his last 31 at the plate for a .323 average...INF Aaron Herr has now recorded a hit in seven of his last eight games, batting .333(10-30) with 2HR, 6RBI. Herr leads the Bisons team with 32RBI.
