Monday's Durham Bulls/Buffalo Bisons game suspended in third inning

Monday night's game between the Buffalo Bisons and the Durham Bulls at Dunn Tire Park has been suspended in the bottom of the 3rd inning due to rain. The teams will conclude the game as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, June 17 at Dunn Tire Park.

The first game will be restarted at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bisons Irish Festival Night, presented by WNY Buick, Pontiac and GMC Dealers, will still begin with a pre-game tent party at 5:00 p.m. with live music from McWhorter & Leonard and ethnic food specials.

On Tuesday, June 17, the teams will conclude the nine-inning game started on Monday before playing a seven-inning second game. At the time of suspension, the Bulls were leading the Bisons, 2-1, with one out in the bottom of the third inning. Herd left fielder Jason Cooper was batting with a 2-0 count against Durham's Jeff Neimann. The Bisons had runners on second (Armando Camacaro) and third base (Jason Tyner ).

Fans holding tickets to Monday's game can exchange them for a comparable ticket to any future 2008 Bisons game (excluding special events). All ticket exchanges must be made at the Dunn Tire Park Box Office. Please note that these exchanges do not have to be made on Monday, June 16. Fans with tickets can exchange them throughout the remainder of the 2008 season.
