Today's Game

The teams will complete last night's suspended game through nine innings before playing a second seven-inning contest. After tomorrow's series finale, the Bisons will host the IronPigs for four starting Thursday.

vs. the Red Sox

The Bisons have not won a season series against Pawtucket since going 10-6 against the PawSox in 2008. Last season, Pawtucket won seven of the last nine contests for the 10-6 series win. The Bisons and PawSox did split the eight games that were played at Coca-Cola Field in 2014.

Where we left off...

Last night's game was suspended after an hour an 18 minutes of play. Pawtucket leads 8-3 with one out in the top of the 4th inning. Bisons LHP ROB RASMUSSEN had a 0-1 count against PawSox OF Bryce Brentz with no one on base at the point of suspension. Brentz will complete his at-bat against RHP RYAN TEPERA, who tossed two shutout innings for the Bisons on Opening Day.

Game 2 - Jeff Francis

LHP JEFF FRANCIS will make his Bisons' debut in tonight's second game. The southpaw was 4-3 with a 3.33 ERA in eight starts for Louisville last season while also seeing big league time with the Reds, A's and Yankees. Francis allowed four runs in 5.1 innings of a no-decision against the PawSox last year, May 10 in Louisville.

Chris Dickerson

Before the rains came Monday, OF CHRIS DICKERSON picked up an RBI-single in the first inning. Dickerson now has an RBI-hit in three of the Herd's first four games this season. The veteran has posted a .500 on-base percentage this year with four hits and four walks already.

Bisons Bits

The Bisons were 4-0 last year on days when they completed a suspended game and played a second contest: June 19 in Columbus (5-3, 7-4) and June 25 vs. the Clippers (5-4, 3-2)...RHP GREGORY INFANTE has allowed just two hits and two walks to the 34 batters he's faced in a Bisons uniform. Triple-A opponents are hitting just .063 against him with Buffalo...RHP BOBBY KORECKY recorded his 23rd career Bisons save Sunday, T7th-most in the modern era.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (4-3) fell in the 2015 Rogers Centre Opener on Monday, 2-1, to Tampa Bay. Former Bisons RHP R.A. Dickey allowed just two runs on three hits in six innings but fell in defeat. Toronto was held to just two hits in the loss. The Blue Jays host the Rays again tonight at 7:07 p.m.
