INDIANAPOLIS - The Toledo Mud Hens took advantage of an errant pickoff throw from behind the plate to score twice in the eighth and defeat the Indianapolis Indians 7-6 on Tuesday afternoon at Victory Field.

Josh Wilson and Bryan Holaday led off the deciding frame with back-to-back walks and were both spotted a free base when rehabbing catcher Chris Stewart's throw-down to second went sailing into the outfield.

Xavier Avery singled home Wilson as Toledo's (4-2) go-ahead run and Holaday, now standing on third base rather than second, was driven in as the eventual game-winner on a sacrifice fly from Dixon Machado.

Jaff Decker twice scored on wild pitches for the Indians (3-3), including tying the contest 5-5 in the bottom of the seventh.

Gustavo Nunez also scored two runs for the Tribe and Mel Rojas Jr. chipped in a pair of RBIs on a run-scoring single and groundout.

Steve Lombardozzi led the offense with a 3-for-4 effort and two doubles.

Blake Wood suffered the loss after allowing both runs in the eighth inning.
