Radio: WWKB AM 1520, bisons.com

TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons host the Charlotte Knights in the final game of a four-game series from Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The Herd is 2-5 so far on this homestand, which began with a four-game split against the Toledo Mud Hens. Tomorrow, the Bisons begin an eight-game roadtrip with four in Louisville and four in Indianapolis.

vs. KNIGHTS: The Bisons are 2-5 against the Knights this season as Charlotte has already clinched a season series victory. It's their first season win over the Herd since taking six of eight from Buffalo in 2009. The two clubs split a four-game set in Charlotte from May 11-14.

WE ARE FAMILIA : RHP JEURYS FAMILIA will get his team-leading 21st start of the season against Charlotte tonight. In Familia's last start on July 18 against Toledo, he set a career high with eight innings pitched in a no-decision. The righty also posted a season-best nine strikeouts in that performance. Since the All-Star break, Familia is 1-0 record and a 0.63ERA in 14.1 innings with 15 strikeouts to only eight hits allowed.

HARVEY: RHP MATT HARVEY has been placed on the Mets' 24-hour taxi squad and will be activated on Tuesday. Harvey will make his major league debut for the Mets on Thursday, July 26 versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. An International League All-Star, the righty currently holds a 7-5 record with a 3.68ERA. He ranks 2nd in the IL with 112 strikeouts this season.

BAXTER: OF MIKE BAXTER joins the Bisons today on an MLB injury rehab assignment. Baxter suffered a displaced right collarbone crashing into the wall on June 1 to make a catch and preserve Johan Santana's no-hitter. Baxter played 18 games for the Bisons in 2011 and hit a home run on the very first pitch he saw with Buffalo, July 26 against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

BISONS BITS: LHP JUSTIN HAMPSON has made six consecutive scoreless appearances. Since July 7, the southpaw has yielded just five hits in 5.0 innings. He's also pitched scoreless baseball in 13 of his last 14 games out of the bullpen... RHP JEFF STEVENS was promoted to the Bisons from Binghamton (AA) on Sunday going 1.0 innings, allowing two hits and striking out a batter.

METS UPDATE : For the first time all season, the Mets' (47-48) record dipped below .500, as they fell to the LA Dodgers, 8-3 in 12 innings on Sunday. The Mets open a three-game home series versus the NL East-leading Washington Nationals on Monday at 7:10 p.m. RHP CHRIS YOUNG will get the nod tonight for the Mets.
