
Bisons Gutierrez Recalled to Cleveland

The Cleveland Indians today announced that they have recalled Bisons outfielder Franklin Gutierrez. With a space on the Herd's roster, pitcher Jeff Harris was promoted from Mahoning Valley.
Gutierrez began the season on the Major League 15-day disabled list while recovering from a left hamstring strain suffered in spring training. He was activated from DL on April 13 and optioned to the Bisons. With the Herd, he batted .364 (28-77) with 18 runs scored, four doubles, two home runs, 10RBI and five stolen bases in 18 games. His .364 average is the third highest in the International League.
Harris is 1-1 with a 7.11ERA in five starts with the Bisons this season (19.0IP, 21H, 17R, 15ER, 8BB, 5K).
