Today's Game
This evening the Bisons open up a three-game series with the Rochester Red Wings. It is the first meeting of the season for the Thruway rivals of the 2019 season. After the series, Buffalo heads to Lehigh Valley for the second half of their seven-game road trip.
Last Game: BUF 3, LOU 7
After coming out strong with a two-run bottom of the first, the Bisons were not able to maintain the momentum and allowed seven runs on 16 hits in a losing effort. Socrates Brito brought in his first RBI for the team, alongside Lourdes Gurriel Jr.'s 26th, in the bottom of the first but it was not enough even with Reese McGuire's sac-fly to bring in a run in the ninth.
Rochester (0-0)
The Bisons and Red Wings split last season's meetings almost even with the Herd taking eight games and Rochester taking nine. The Red Wings are currently on a four-game winning streak against Buffalo after closing out last season's series by winning the final four. The Bisons will travel to the Flower City and attempt to start off this season series with a win.

the Louisville Bats and punching out two batters in the homestand finale, he continued to drop his ERA down to 1.08.
