The Tampa Bay Rays have made the following moves affecting the roster of Double-A Montgomery prior to their series finale with Tennessee on Saturday night:
OF Desmond Jennings placed on Temporarily Inactive List...OF Pedro Powell activated from Hudson Valley (Short-A) roster [24 + 1]
Jennings is inactive while he travels to participate in the XM All-Star Futures Game in St. Louis, MO, on Sunday.
The corresponding moves keep the Biscuits at the Southern League maximum of 24 active players. One player (Jason Perry) is currently on the Disabled List.
