MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Robby Price blooped a single into left field to score Kyeong Kang from third and make the Biscuits (31-30) walk-off-winners in the ninth inning in a 6-5 win over the series opener with the Huntsville Stars (26-33) Friday night at Riverwalk.

With the game tied at five, Kang led off the ninth inning with a single into right field off of Frankie De La Rosa (0-1). Riccio Torrez tried to sacrifice Kang to second, but De La Rosa threw a wild pitch that allowed Kang to get to second. Torrez then advanced Kang to third with a bunt single up the third-base-line. With two on and no one out, Price hit a shallow fly to left that Brock Kjeldgaard dove for but could not catch, allowing Kang to score and giving the Biscuits their first walk-off win of the season.

The Stars entered the ninth inning trailing 5-3. Adam Weisenburger hit a solo shot off of Austin Hubbard to make it 5-4. Then with two on, two outs and a full count, Kentrail Davis singled-in the tying run.

Huntsville struck first with three runs in the second inning off of Jake Floethe. The Biscuits answered with a two-run single by Mayo Acosta in their half of the second inning to make it a 3-2 game. Montgomery took a 5-3 lead with three runs in the fourth.

Todd Glaesmann, Kang, Torrez and Acosta all finished with two hits each while Acosta drove in three runs.

Game two is Saturday night at 6:35. RHP Jake Thompson will start for the Biscuits while RHP Ariel Pena will be on the hill for the Stars.
