Jackson, Tenn - The Seattle Mariners made the following roster move Friday that affects the Jackson Generals roster. RHP Stephen Shackleford has been added to the Generals roster from A+ High Desert. The addition of Shackleford puts the Generals back at the maximum of 25 players on the active roster.

SHACKLEFORD, 24, was 2-2 with a 2.52 ERA and 7 saves in 24 games for the High Desert Mavericks this season. In 25 innings Shackleford posted 23 strikeouts and 17 walks. The Louisville, KY native led the A- Clinton LumberKings last season with 11 saves and had a 1.47 ERA in 28 relief appearances. He was signed as a Minor League free agent on May 23, 2007 by the Mariners and was originally drafted by San Francisco Giants in the 35th round of the 2010 draft.

Jackson's roster currently is at 25 players, with 2 on the disabled list.
