Birmingham Squadron Exact Revenge With 115-95 Win Over Raptors 905

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, defeated Raptors 905 in the second contest of a midweek back-to-back on Thursday night at Paramount Fine Foods Center in Mississauga, Ontario.

Dereon Seabron led Birmingham (3-12) in scoring with 25 points, while Feron Hunt pitched in 21, including a thunderous dunk just before the buzzer to end the first half. Zylan Cheatham hauled in 12 boards, marking his second straight game with double-digit rebounds.

The Squadron never trailed in Thursday's game and led by as many as 30 in the second half.

Raptors 905 (6-5) was paced by Sterling Brown's 23 off the bench and Jeff Dowtin Jr. led the starters with 18

The Squadron returns to the court on Saturday to take on the Maine Celtics in at noon CT at the Portland Expo Center. The game can be seen locally on My68 WABM or nationally on NBAGLeague.com.
