BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, fell to the Osceola Magic, 168-133, Thursday night at Legacy Arena at the BJCC.
Landers Nolley II's 41 points was a career-high and was also three points shy of the Squadron (14-18) all-time record for points scored by a player in one game.
Dereon Seabron scored 27 and E.J. Liddell dropped 26 points in the loss.
40 points from two-time-defending NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion Mac McClung paced the Magic (21-9).
The Squadron now head to Oklahoma City to play a Wednesday mid-day contest with tip-off scheduled for noon from the Paycom Center. The game can be seen on My68 and NBAGLeague.com.
