Magic Set Franchise Record in Sweep against Squadron

The Osceola Magic set a new franchise-scoring record at Legacy Arena Thursday night, tallying 168 points in their 168-133 victory.
Trevelin Queen had a double-double, collecting 24 points and pulling down 10 boards in the victory.
"Man, that's a lot of points," Queen said. "We played together, we played free. It's critical to stick to the game plan and be locked in on each other and the personnel. Everyone is contributing, and we're winning. I just feel grateful for the opportunity the Magic have given me since day one. They've helped me grow as a basketball player and as a man."
Osceola outscored Birmingham 45-26 in the opening quarter and finished the first half with 85 points. Mac McClung led the scoring with 21 points on 81% shooting.
The Magic controlled the paint throughout the contest, outscoring the Squadron 78-56 inside and outrebounding them 63-35. McClung posted a team high 40 points on 75% shooting, and seven Magic players scored in double figures.
"Everyone was just making their shots," McClung said. "We've got a lot of talented guys on our team. It's about us locking in and no one begging for the ball; everyone's focused. This is probably the most talented G League team I've ever been on. It's a lot of fun, and we're having a good time."
This victory extends the Osceola Magic's winning streak to four and marks the third time this season they have broken their scoring record. Thursday's 168 points surpassed Osceola's previous high of 153 points set on January 18, 2024, against the Westchester Knicks.
The Osceola Magic (21-9), NBA G League Affiliate of the Orlando Magic, will host the Iowa Wolves Monday, March 25, at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee at 7 p.m. for their Women's Empowerment Night.
