Last Time Out: Biloxi jumped out to a 7-0 lead after two innings...Noah Campbell singled home two and Thomas Dillard collected 3 RBI. LHP Brandon Knarr kept the Biscuits off the board until a 3-run 6th inning. The Biscuits scored 9 unanswered runs to take a 9-8 lead in the 8th on a sac fly. A Garrett Mitchell sac fly in the 8th tied the game, & Sal Frelick won it with a 1B in 10th.

At the Plate: Welcome to Sal's: OF Sal Frelick homered for the third time in the previous five games on Tuesday night vs Montgomery..the Brewers' No. 2 prospect is slashing .403/.463/.597 with three home runs and 12 RBI in the month of July. Frelick has recorded a hit in 15 of the 18 contests so far this month. The Shuckers' outfielder was also named to MLB Pipeline's Top 10 outfielder rankings across all of Minor League Baseball on Tuesday.

He's BACK!: After missing the previous 48 games, Garrett Mitchell made his return to the Shuckers' lineup on 7/13. In his first 12 games, Mitchell has recorded a hit in ten of them and reached base safely in 11 of them... He is currently 19-for-49 (.388) with six doubles, two home run, 14 RBI, nine run and two outfield assists.

Offensive Fireworks: In the month of June, the Biloxi Shuckers offense erupted for 171 runs in 26 contests for an average of 6.6 runs per game. That total placed them at the top of Double-A and 9th in all of Minor League

Baseball. As a team, the Shuckers offense finished hitting .290 in June, which was the highest in Double-A and 3rd highest in MiLB... In the month of July, Biloxi is hitting .239 (174-728) with 172 strikeouts....the Shuckers are in the Southern League lead with 27 home runs in the month of July.

Walk This Way: Shuckers' 1B Thomas Dillard is currently first in the Southern League in walks with 63...Dillard walked in nine consecutive games from June 3 to June 14, drawing 14 free passes in that span... His 9 straight games is the longest streak in the Southern League this season...He is now 4 walks shy of tying the single-season franchise record (67 - Brett Phillips, 2016).

On the Mound: Bennett & the Jets: LHP Nick Bennett struck out a career-high nine batters in the Shuckers win against Montgomery on 7/7...His previous career-high was eight, which he tallied against Birmingham (5/11/22) and last year 6/23/21 vs MTG. Bennett then tossed a career-high 7.0 innings vs PNS on 7/22...It's also the fifth start this year that the southpaw has surpassed 6.0 innings on the hill. He completed that feat in just one start last year.

Don't Mess with Texas: RHP Nash Walters is in the midst of a season-long scoreless streak of 17.0 innings that has spanned over his last 15 appearances. Since the streak started on 6/11, Walters has tallied three wins and five holds. His eights holds on the season are tied for the most in all of the Southern League.

New Sherriff in Town: RHP Cam Robinson was added to the Shuckers' roster on July 4th... The righty currently leads Minor League Baseball with 20 saves in 22 chances, and had a 1.45 ERA in 28 appearances with High-A Wisconsin... He walked just 17 batters and struck out 52 in 37.1 innings... Robinson earned his first save with the Shuckers on 7/26 vs Montgomery, striking out two in a scoreless inning.

Tight Ship Crew: The Shuckers' bullpen was in the middle of a 19.2 innings scoreless streak before it was snapped on Sunday... It was the first run that scored against Biloxi's 'pen since the seventh inning on Thursday, 7/14, in Tennessee... In their last 35.2 innings, the bullpen has allowed 10 runs, equating to a 2.52 ERA.

What's Shuckin: Too Close to Call: Through the Shuckers first 92 games of the season, 39 of them have been decided by one run, with another 16 decided by two runs. Biloxi owns a combined 27-28 record in those contests.

The Shuckers six games from June 24th to June 30 were all decided by one run, including three walk-off victories.

Holding the Lead: The Shuckers have led at one point in 77 of their first 92 games. The twelve times they didn't hold a lead came in three shutout losses, 5/1 vs Pensacola, 5/11 vs. BIR, 5/22 @ MIS, 6/11 vs. TNS, 6/14 @ CHA, 6/23, 6/25 vs PNS and 6/30, 7/2 vs MIS, 7/10 @ MTG, 7/16 @ TNS & 7/27 vs MTG.
