SPRINGFIELD, MA- The Reno Bighorns dominated from start to finish tonight, handing the Springfield Armor their worst loss of the season, 127-88, in front of 3,603 fans inside the MassMutual Center.

The Armor (13-13) trailed Reno 13-12 midway through the first quarter, but Reno (12-12) finished the period on a 23-3 run to extend the gap to 36-15. The Armor never recovered, as the deficit swelled to 31 points by halftime and 45 points late in the fourth quarter.

The Bighorns were clicking on all cylinders tonight, shooting 56.1% from the field (46-82), including 12-21 (57.1%) from behind the arc. Reno out-rebounded the Armor 50-35 and dished out 31 assists compared to just 10 turnovers.

Tonight was also an historic night for Reno's Blake Ahearn, as the veteran guard buried his 100th consecutive free throw at the 8:49 mark of the second quarter. Ahearn holds the NBA Development League record for consecutive free throws and has also surpassed the NBA record.

The Armor had three players score in double figures tonight, led by L.D. Williams' 17 points, 12 of which came in the second quarter. JamesOn Curry contributed 17 points and Jerry Smith scored 14.

The Bighorns had six players reach double figures, with Zach Graham emerging from the Reno bench to score a game-high 23 points. Former Armor center Chris Ayer registered a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds, Andre Emmett poured in 18 points and Bobby Simmons (17 points, 8 rebounds), Ahearn (15 points, 9 assists) and Terrance Thomas (15 points) also finished in double figures.

The Armor, who became the last team in the NBA D-League tonight to play three straight games on their home court, will get some much-needed rest and practice time before continuing their current homestand Thursday against the Sioux Falls Skyforce at the MassMutual Center.

The Bighorns return to action tomorrow when they head up north to battle the Maine Red Claws in a matinee from Portland.
