Reno Bighorns News Release

SPRINGFIELD, MASS.- The Reno Bighorns came into the game against the Springfield Armor hoping to make a statement by snapping a three-game losing streak. That statement was heard loud and clear.

The Bighorns routed the Armor Saturday night with a 127-88 victory that also continued the historic free-throw streak for Blake Ahearn. The Bighorns had six players score in double digits, led by Zach Graham's 23 points off the bench. Chris Ayer had 18 points and 14 rebounds while Ahearn contributed with 15 points and nine assists.

Ahearn had made 99 consecutive free-throws entering the night, an NBA D-League record that has already surpassed the NBA record of 97. Ahearn went 4-for-4 from the free-throw line, continuing his streak and putting the D-League record at 103 consecutive free throws made.

The Bighorns shot 56.1 percent from the field on 48-of-82 shots made, including 57.1 percent on three-pointers. The team moved the ball efficiently, posting 31 total assists and seeing three players dish out five or more assists.

The Bighorns continue their road trip with a game against the Maine Red Claws on Sunday. The team returns to Reno to take on the Bakersfield Jam on February 4 at the Reno Events Center.

Reno Bighorns group ticket packages are on sale today. Groups can experience one of the many Fan Experience Packages, including playing a game on the Bighorns court or performing a routine at halftime of a game. For more information call (775)853-8220 or visit RenoBighorns.com.
