Louisiana plays two big home games this weekend. Friday is "Have a Heart Night" against Baton Rouge, as the IceGators wear special Valentine's Day jerseys. The jerseys will be auctioned off after SUNDAY'S game, with proceeds going to the IceGators' Booster Club. Also Friday, the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency, along with 97.3 The Dawg, will be giving away 1,000 heart pucks. Make sure to watch IceGators media and community relations director on KATC's Good Morning Acadiana at 6:10 a.m. Friday to see both the pucks and the jersey. Finally, it's "Date Night," with anyone coming to the box office with a date getting a buy one, get one free adult ticket.
After a road game Saturday in Pensacola, the IceGators return home to face the Mississippi Sea Wolves on Sunday. The first 500 children 12 and under will receive a free T-shirt Jersey.
It could be a big weekend for the IceGators, who could clinch a playoff spot if Baton Rouge loses twice (tonight against Mississippi and tomorrow versus the IceGators), and Louisiana sweeps all three games.
