Chesapeake Baysox News Release
It looked so promising. The Baysox had a two-run lead and the bases loaded and nobody out in the second inning. But they left the bases loaded and New Hampshire took charge scoring ten consecutive runs to send the Baysox to a 10-2 defeat on Tuesday night. The loss is a sixth in a row for Bowie.

In the second inning it looked like the lead would swell. C Michael Ohlman and 2B David Adams singled to open the inning. SS Garabez Rosa was then walked in an at-bat where he was squaring often to bunt. Starter Aaron Sanchez would find his form striking out LF Johnny Ruettiger, getting a groundout force play at the plate from Chiang and then striking out Romero. Bowie would register only two more hits in the game.
New Hampshire then went to work. In the bottom of the third inning facing starter Eduardo Rodriguez who had retired six batters in a row. The Fisher Cats got a leadoff single from RF Jonathan Jones. With one down 2B Jon Berti hit a RBI-triple to left-center. One pitch later he was home on a double to right field by DH Ryan Schimpf and the game was tied at 2-2.
