LOUISVILLE, Ky. - June 21, 2006 - This summer, minor league baseball fans have even more incentive to get to the ballpark earlier. BellSouth (NYSE: BLS) is continuing its support of minor league baseball by firing up the popular Summer Swing Tour and taking it on the road to historic ballparks throughout the Southeast providing fans with a wide array of high-tech, pre-game entertainment for the whole family.
The Summer Swing Tour makes its second stop of the summer June 23 and 24 at Louisville Slugger Field when the Bats take on the Rochester Red Wings. Fans at these select games can stop by the eZone, BellSouth's cutting-edge mobile marketing unit, before first pitch for an exciting tailgate event. There they can gear up by testing the velocity of their fastball in the BellSouth Fast Pitch Challenge or try to out-slug their friends in the Xbox Home Run Derby. Great prizes will be awarded to the best hurlers and hitters at each game.
