Belleville Sens Announce 2019-20 Training Camp Roster

The Belleville Senators have announced a 29-man training camp ahead of the 2019-20 American Hockey League season.

The squad features nine players who have played for Belleville. The Sens' training camp roster features three goaltenders, 12 defencemen and 14 forwards.

There's the potential for a lot of new faces for the Belleville Sens as Joey Daccord, Jonathan Aspirot, Trenton Bourque, Michael Brodzinski, Jack Dougherty, Nick Ebert, Miles Gendron, Hubert Labrie, Chris Martenet, Griffin Reinhart, Michael Carcone, Cole Cassels, Chris Clapperton, Jonathan Davidsson, Mark Kastelic, Josh Norris, Nathan Todd and Max Veronneau would be all be making their Sens debut if they were to make the team out of camp.

The team will also have five players in camp on professional tryouts in Cassels, Martenet, TJ Melancon, Reinhart and Todd. Cassels has played 202 career AHL games with Utica but spent 2018-19 in Germany with Munich. Reinhart was the fourth overall pick in the 2012 NHL draft and has played 37 NHL games and 278 AHL games. He helped Chicago reach the Calder Cup Finals last season.

Defenceman Andreas Englund and forward Morgan Klimchuk were placed on waivers earlier today with the purpose of being assigned to Belleville.

The Sens will also play in two preseason games against the Laval Rocket on Sept. 28 and 29 at Place Bell. Puck drop is 3pm both days.

Fans are reminded that the Sens' entire training camp is open to the public to watch at CAA Arena.
