Columbus Blue Jackets Trim Training Camp Roster by Three Players

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Monsters, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced Sunday that the Blue Jackets assigned goaltender Matiss Kivlenieks to Cleveland. Columbus also released goaltender Brad Thiessen (who is on an AHL contract with the Monsters for the 2019-20 season) from his professional tryout (PTO) contract and placed defenseman Dillon Simpson on waivers for the purpose of assigning him to the Monsters.
