Beginning with Tonight's Season Opener at LA, Total of 15 Lynx Games to be Televised in 2011

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - Beginning with tonight's season opener at Los Angeles at 10 p.m. CT on NBA TV, a total of 15 Lynx games will be broadcast between ESPN 2, NBA TV and FS North this season.
"The increased television schedule speaks volumes to the amount of buzz our team has generated as we lead into our 13th season of Lynx basketball in the Twin Cities," said Conrad Smith, Lynx Chief Operating Officer.
The NBA TV schedule, released yesterday, includes 11 Lynx contests - seven home and four road. Eight of those broadcasts will also be aired on FS North, either live or on a tape-delayed basis. An additional three games, including Sunday's Home Opener vs. Los Angeles at 2:30 p.m. CT, will be carried exclusively on FS North, either live or on a tape-delayed basis. The Lynx will appear on ESPN 2 once during the 2011 season - Tuesday, August 2 vs. Phoenix.
In addition, every Lynx game will be available to watch online as part of the WNBA's Live Access program. Alan Horton returns to call all 34 games this season on the radio home of the Lynx, BOB 106.
