SALT LAKE CITY (May 5, 2008) - The Salt Lake Bees are proud to continue the team's Knothole Club kids program in 2008.

Sponsored by Wendy's, Knothole Club memberships cost $10 per season and are available for kids ages 12 and under. Benefits include a ticket voucher to a Salt Lake Bees game, a Salt Lake Bees t-shirt, a membership ID card entitling the holder to $5 discounted Bees tickets and a free frosty from any Wasatch Front Wendy's location. Membership also allows for opportunities to meet Bees players.

"The Knothole Club gives kids the opportunity to experience triple-A baseball at a great ballpark. Kids not only have access to great seats, but they also get the unique opportunity to interact with our players," said Salt Lake Bees General Manager Marc Amicone.

For the second consecutive season, the Knothole Club will hold player clinics at Franklin Covey Field. On May 24 and August 9 from 10 a.m. to noon, members will have the chance to participate in baseball drills with Bees players and also receive autographs.

Youth baseball organizations also have the option of enrolling their entire league in the Knothole Club. Salt Lake Bees t-shirts, jerseys and/or hats can be purchased for use as uniforms at a reduced price.

Individual memberships can be purchased online at www.slbees.com or at Bees home games at Franklin Covey Field. Baseball team memberships can be arranged by contacting Nate Martinez at (801) 325-2573.
