
Sidewinders Shut Down In Series Finale

Albuquerque, NM - Eulogio De La Cruz threw seven shutout innings and the Albuquerque Isotopes salvaged the final game of their four game series with Tucson with a 6-1 win.
The Sidewinders had scored 40 runs on 57 hits through the first three games of the series but were handled easily by De La Cruz. The Albuquerque right-hander allowed just five hits and struck out nine.
Juan Gutierrez took his league leading fifth loss of the season. Gutierrez (1-5) allowed two runs on two hits in four innings of work.
Emilio Bonifacio went 0 for 4 with two strikeouts to snap his 10 game hitting streak.
The Sidewinders return home Tuesday night to open a four game series with the Nashville Sounds. First pitch is at 6:30. The game will air live on COOL 1450 beginning at 6:20.
