
Bechen Commits to Minnesota-Duluth

Green Bay Gamblers forward Blake Bechen has committed to the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Bechen joins teammates forward Jayson Shaugabay and goaltender Adam Gajan as Gamblers committed to the Bulldogs. Bechen is the 21st player on the Gamblers roster to commit to NCAA Division 1 institution.
Bechen was acquired in an off-season trade with the Madison Capitols. The Dubuque, Iowa native ranks 2nd on the Gamblers in scoring, recording 19 points (9 goals & 10 assists) in 19 games.
Bechen was a member of the 2023 Clark Cup champion Youngstown Phantoms, collecting 12 points (4 goals & 8 assists) in 36 games. Bechen was traded to Madison after the completion of the season.
