
Beavers Place Henn On Disabled List, Add Hampson To Active Roster

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Beavers today placed left-handed pitcher Sean Henn on the disabled list (retroactive to June 28) with a left shoulder strain and added left-handed pitcher Justin Hampson to the active roster.
Henn, 27, is 0-0 with a 14.21 ERA (10er, 6.1ip) in nine relief appearances with Portland this season. The left-hander was outrighted to the club from San Diego on June 2.
Hampson, 28, was optioned to Portland Friday after going 0-1 with a 7.27 ERA (7er, 8.2ip) in 10 relief appearance with the Padres. He began the season on the disabled list with left shoulder tendinitis and was reinstated June 2.
In 10 relief outings with the Beavers last season, Hampson posted a 1-1 record, a 3.55 ERA (5er, 12.2ip) and 12 strikeouts.
