Beausoleil leads Blazers past RiverKings

Oklahoma City, OK --- Michel Beausoleil scored four goals and former RiverKings goalie Sebastien Centomo made 33 saves as the Oklahoma City Blazers defeated the Memphis RiverKings 6-2 Friday night at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City.

After the Blazers had taken a 3-0 lead, the RiverKings' Peter Robertson and Ryan Campbell scored twice in the second period to cut the lead to 3-2 entering the third. But, like Wichita the night before at the DCC, the Blazers outscored the RiverKings 3-0 in the third to break open a close game and go away with their fourth straight win. The loss for the Memphis was their fifth in a row as they head to Tulsa for a 7:35 game with the Oilers tomorrow night.

Centomo, playing for the first time against the team he broke in with in 2001-2002, picked up the win as Memphis had the shots edge 35-30. Michael Dilrenzo started in the nets and took the loss for the RiverKings.

Upcoming promotions: This Thursday's game vs. Wichita is a 2 for 1 Gold Level Ticket Night. Tuesday, 2/28 is Miller Lite Mardi Gras Night. The first 1,500 fans 21 and older receive Mardi Gras beads.
