
Bears Welcome Norfolk To Town Sunday Night

The HERSHEY BEARS Hockey Club return from the holiday break this Sunday, with a home game against the high-flying Norfolk Admirals at Giant Center. Norfolk will come to town Sunday having scored the most goals in the American Hockey League, holding down second place in the East Division standings.
Tickets for Sunday ¬â¢s game against the Admirals are available now at the Giant Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
Aucoin returns, notches 200: After being injured November 7 and missing the next 16 games, center Keith Aucoin returned to the lineup Friday night in Adirondack against the Phantoms. Aucoin made sure that Sunday ¬â¢s game vs. Charlotte was memorable one, scoring his 200th
career American Hockey League goal in a 6-3 win over the Checkers at Giant Center.
McNeill returns to the lineup: Defenseman Patrick McNeill played his first game of the season Friday night in Glens Falls, NY against Adirondack. McNeill, who had not played since scoring two goals in Game 6 of the Calder Cup Finals against Texas, had been recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.
Perreault leads Caps to win: Mathieu Perreault scored two goals and was named the game ¬â¢s number one star Sunday as Washington defeated Ottawa 3-2 at Scotiabank Place. Andrew Gordon and Jay Beagle, both recalled to the Capitals last week, remain on recall as the new week begins.
Practice schedule: The BEARS will not practice this week due to the holiday break, getting back on the ice Sunday morning for a brief pregame skate at Giant Center at 10:00 a.m.
Busy after the holidays: The BEARS will have time off from December 20-25 for the holidays, but will play five games in eight nights starting December 26 at home against Norfolk. Four of the five games will be at home, with the lone road game in Pittsburgh December 30 against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Upcoming promotions: Saturday, January 15 is Ames Services Rally Towel Night at Giant Center, with the first 6,000 fans through the gates receiving a free BEARS rally towel. Friday, January 21 is MetroBank Drawstring Backpack night, free to the first 3,000 fans.
