Bears Unveil Third Jersey for 2010-11

HERSHEY - The 2010 Calder Cup Champion HERSHEY BEARS announced today the team's throwback jersey, which will be worn periodically during the 2010-11 season. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.

The jersey features white lettering on a maroon jersey, with the popular "Skating BEAR" logo, used on various jerseys in team history. The third jersey, which will primarily be seen at Sunday home games in 2010-11, will be on sale Thursday night at the team's Season Ticket Holder pickup night at Giant Center.

The BEARS play at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Friday in the 2010 preseason opener before hosting the Penguins Saturday night at Giant Center at 7:00 p.m. Bridgeport comes to town Sunday to conclude the three-game exhibition slate with a 5:00 p.m. faceoff along HERSHEYPARK Drive. General admission tickets are available day-of-game at the Giant Center box office for Saturday and Sunday's contests.
