Bears Recall Michal Cajkovsky from Reading

HERSHEY, Pa. - The Hershey Bears announced today that defenseman Michal Cajkovsky (chuh-KAHV-skee) has been recalled from the ECHL's Reading Royals. The announcement was made by Bears President/GM Doug Yingst.

Cajkovsky, 21, has appeared in 13 games with the Royals, and has posted five points (one goal, four assists) and six penalty minutes. Prior to starting the season, Cajkovsky participated in the Washington Capitals' summer development camp in July.

The 6'3, 208-pound native of Bratislava, Slovakia finished his third junior season and second with the OHL's Ottawa 67's in 2012-13. In 66 games, Cajkovsky's 10 goals, 24 assists and 34 points all ranked second among Ottawa defensemen.

Cajkovsky recorded 55 points (13 goals, 42 assists) and 209 penalty minutes over two seasons with Ottawa, and added 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in 67 games with the OHL's Kingston Frontenacs in 2010-11.
