Piskula Reassigned to Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Joe Piskula to Milwaukee (AHL). In addition, the Admirals have reassigned defenseman Teddy Ruth to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

Piskula played a pair of games for the Predators during his first recall of 2013-14, making his Nashville debut on Nov. 30 vs. Philadelphia. The Antigo, WI native has five assists, 12 penalty minutes and a +3 rating while appearing in 18 games with Milwaukee  this year. Piskula played 112 games during a three-year career at the University of Wisconsin from 2004-07, posting 22 points (3g-19a) and 80 penalty minutes. In 2006, he helped the Badgers claim the NCAA title.

Ruth skated in two games in his most recent recall with the Ads, and now returns to Cincinnati where he has a goal and two assists in 12 games for the Cyclones.

Piskula and the Admirals return to the ice on Friday night when they host the Oklahoma City Barons at 7:00 pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
