Bears at home tonight as Bridgeport comes to call at Giant Center

After a thrilling 1-0 win at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Friday night to move within four points of first place, the BEARS get right back to work tonight against the Sound Tigers. It's the final visit of the season for Bridgeport along HERSHEYPARK Drive, with two games yet to come between the two teams at the Arena at Harbor Yard.
Friday night, Tomas Fleischmann scored his 17th goal of the season just 3:09 into the game as the BEARS won 1-0 at Wilkes-Barre. Frederic Cassivi earned his second shutout in six days with a heroic defensive effort in front of the veteran netminder making the win possible. HERSHEY entered Friday's game with five players recalled to Washington earlier in the day and seven other players out due to injury.
The BEARS will again have the services of Dave Steckel this evening. Steckel, one of five recalls on Friday morning, was assigned late Friday night back to HERSHEY following Washington's 5-4 loss at Philadelphia against the Flyers. HERSHEY will also have Cam McCaffrey, a recall from South Carolina (ECHL) in the lineup this evening.
Tickets remain for tonight's game at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR. The game can also be heard via the BEARS Radio Network (100.1 FM, 1490-AM and 960-AM) beginning at 6:40 p.m. with the pregame show. The game this evening is the only home game this weekend for Bruce Boudreau's club.
