
Bears and ABC-27 Announce Television Broadcast Makeup Date

HERSHEY, Pa. - The HERSHEY BEARS, in conjunction with ABC-27, announced today a makeup date for the game broadcast originally scheduled for Friday, February 3. The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the television broadcast slated for Friday, February 3 at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton was cancelled. The BEARS and ABC-27 are proud to announce that the game against the St. John's IceCaps has been added to the schedule and will be broadcast live from GIANT Center on Saturday, March 31 at 7:00 PM.
The game, already nearing a sellout, will be the first regular-season home game to be televised as part of the 2011-12 cooperation between the BEARS and ABC-27.

There are two more road contests remaining on the ABC-27 television schedule. The BEARS will visit the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Sunday, February 19, with faceoff set for 3:00 PM from Bridgeport's Webster Bank Arena. Fans may also tune in on Wednesday, March 28 at 7:05 PM as the BEARS visit Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena to battle the Binghamton Senators.
"Voice of the BEARS" Scott Stuccio calls the action, with ABC-27 Sports Director Gregg Mace providing analysis. Mace also provides special intermission features during each broadcast.
