Chicago Wolves News Release

Chicago Wolves right wing CODY BEACH will appear at Chicago-area libraries on Thursday, Feb. 27, as part of the 19th season of the "Read to Succeed" program, presented by Butternut Bread and J.U.L.I.E., Call 811 Before You Dig.

Beach will first appear at 5 p.m. at Park Forest Public Library, located at 400 Lakewood Boulevard in Park Forest. Following that, he will be visiting Midlothian Public Library. He will start his second program at 7 p.m. at 14701 S. Kenton Ave. in Midlothian.

The "Read to Succeed" program teaches the importance of recreational reading and encourages children to use the many resources that libraries have to offer. Beach will speak about the benefits of reading outside the classroom and discuss how it plays an important part in his life as a professional athlete.

Participants can win prizes -- including Wolves hats, beanies, and tickets to upcoming games -- for setting and achieving reading goals.

Throughout the season, more than 17,000 children will participate in the program, with Wolves players making appearances at select libraries throughout the Chicago area.
