The Distillery to Hold Ghost Wing-Eating Contest at Friday's Amerks Game, Postgame Party on Saturday

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced that The Distillery will hold their annual Ghost Wing-Eating contest at the Amerks game on Friday, Feb. 21 versus the San Antonio Rampage. Following the Amerks game versus the Hamilton Bulldogs on Saturday, Feb. 22, The Distillery will host a postgame party at the restaurant's Mt. Hope Avenue location. Both Amerks games begin at 7:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.
The annual Ghost Wing-Eating Contest sponsored by The Distillery will take place in the tunnel located between sections 114 and 116 during the second intermission of Friday's game. The contestant that eats the most chicken wings soaked in The Distillery's signature "Ghost" hot sauce in two minutes will win a Distillery prize pack. Fans can sign up to participate in the contest at the podium in the Upper Atrium or at the Amerks Guest Services Booth, and four contestants will be chosen to compete.
Amerks players and coaches will stop by The Distillery, located at 1142 Mt. Hope Avenue, following Saturday night's contest for the final postgame party of the season. The Distillery, a longtime sponsor of the Amerks, will offer a variety of great food and drink specials while Amerks prizes will be given away throughout the party.
