Amerks Assign Jerome Gauthier-Leduc to Gwinnett

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has assigned defenseman Jerome Gauthier-Leduc to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL.

Gauthier-Leduc, 21, has played in 38 games with the Amerks this season, recording nine points (2+7) and 18 penalty minutes. In 48 games as a rookie in 2012-13, the native of Quebec City, Quebec, collected seven points (3+4) and eight penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 192-pound Gauthier-Leduc was originally selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the third round (68th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
