BC Lions Add Cheridor to Practice Roster

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced the following transactions:

Add to practice roster: DL Mackendy Cheridor (A)

Release from practice roster: DB Dom Termansen (N)

Cheridor (6'5", 275) was a four-year starter on defense at Georgia State (2014-2018) including three years at defensive end, where he moved in 2015 after playing outside linebacker his first two seasons. He wrapped up his college playing days with a school record 10.5 career sacks and six forced fumbles. He also ranks second all-time with 25 tackles for a loss among his 84 solo stops over 44 career games. An undrafted free agent signing of the Atlanta Falcons, Mackendy attended training camp with the club in 2018.

The next BC Lions home game is Saturday, July 27 versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders presented by The Brick.
