Baysox Playoff Tickets Go On Sale Monday

The Bowie Baysox announced on Friday that individual playoff game tickets will go on sale to the public beginning on Monday, August 29 at 10 a.m.
Playoff tickets will be available for purchase on-line at www.baysox.com, or through the Bowie Baysox Ticket Office by calling (301) 464-4865 or in-person. Individual game ticket prices for all Baysox home playoff games will remain the same as the regular season ticket prices.
Under the Eastern League's playoff format, the champion of the Southern Division could play as many as six home playoff games, while the second place club in the division could host as many as five post-season contests. Entering Friday's action, Bowie (69-63) was tied for second place in the Southern Division with Altoona, and both teams trail first-place Akron by eight full games in the standings. If the Baysox finish in second place in the division, Games "A" and "B" would take place at Prince George's Stadium on Friday, Sept. 9 and Saturday, Sept. 10 in the first round of the E.L. playoffs. If the Baysox advance to the Eastern League Championship Series games "C", "D", "E" would take place Thursday, Sept. 15 through Saturday, Sept. 17. Game times for all home playoff games will be announced next week.

Baysox fans holding unused 2005 Flex Pack or Fielder's Choice Plan Tickets will be able to use their remaining tickets for 2005 playoff games. All other 2005 undated General Admission Tickets and/or exchanged tickets will not be honored for any playoff games. Advance Playoff Ticket purchases will be refunded if purchased game(s) is not played.
