Indiana Mad Ants News Release
Fort Wayne, IN (November 28, 2010)- The Erie BayHawks soared past the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, 113-100. The visiting BayHawks swept the Mad Ants in this weekend's double header.
It was all BayHawks the first two periods of play as the visiting team held a 62-44 lead going into the locker room. Toronto Raptors assignee Ed Davis scored 10 points and had three block shots in the first half. The BayHawks offense did not slow down as they extended the lead to 28 points early in the third.
The Mad Ants made a late attempt at a comeback and cut the score down to 10 points halfway through the fourth but that was as close as they would get as the BayHawks were too much for the Ants to handle.
The BayHawks finished with 7 players in double figures and were led by Cedric Jackson who finished with 21 points and 6 assists. Ivan Johnson finished with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Nate Linehart contributed 15.
The Mad Ants were led by Marvin Phillips Jr. who finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Chris Kramer contributed 14 points and Obie Muonelo had 13 coming off of the bench.
Both teams move to 2-2 on the season.
