JACKSONVILLE, FL- The BayBears had a 4-1 lead Sunday in Jacksonville, but the Suns came back with eight runs in the sixth and four runs in the eighth to beat Mobile 13-5. Starter Roger Deago, Ryan Trytten, and Paul Abraham all pitched in the eight-run sixth, which saw 12 Jacksonville players bat. Tydus Meadows hit a grand slam in the inning.
Mobile?s runs came on RBI singles in the first by Joey Gomes and Luis Cruz. Matt Lauderdale was 2-for-4 with a two-run double. The fifth run came on an RBI double by Stephen Smitherman. Gomes and Cruz both were 2-for-4 in the game. Trytten (0-1) took the loss after facing four batters, and not getting any outs. The BayBears have now lost four straight games.
