MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Mobile BayBears (51-43/11-13) collected 13 hits and scored multiple runs in four different innings en route to an 11-3 win over the Biscuits (50-42/14-10) Sunday night at Riverwalk.

The game was tied at two in the top of the fourth when Alfredo Marte hit a two-run home run off Matt Buschmann to start the BayBear scoring onslaught. Biscuits scored one run in the bottom of the fourth, but from there it was all Mobile. A two-run double from Chris Owings sparked a four-run sixth inning to give Mobile a 9-3 lead. The BayBears added two more runs in the seventh off Scott Shuman.

The Biscuits offense only amassed three hits. One of them was a Ryan Garko two-run home run in the first inning to tie the game at two. Hak-Ju Lee went 1-for-4 which extended his on-base streak to a league-leading 29 games.

Matt Buschmann (3-5) gave up a season-high nine runs on eleven hits through six innings for the loss.

Game three between the Biscuits and BayBears will be Monday at 7:05. RHP Nick Barnese will get the ball for Montgomery while Mobile will counter with RHP Michael Bolsinger.
