Pensacola Blue Wahoos News Release
It was a fun night all around on Family Sunday at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium. After celebrating a 6-1 Blue Wahoos win, youngsters ran the bases in the Kids Run and played catch in the outfield in the Family Toss all presented by McDonald's.
As for the game, Billy Hamilton provided more thrills with his inside the park home run in the seventh inning. It was his first home run as a member of the Blue Wahoos. The win also ensures the Wahoos still own at least a share of the South Division's top spot.
The two teams will continue the I-10 Panhandle Series on Monday with Social Media Monday. Fans are encouraged to tweet @BlueWahoosBBall for a chance to win prizes. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.
