Bay FC Signs Midfielder Dorian Bailey to New Contract Through 2027

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Bay FC announced today the club has agreed to a new multi-year contract with midfielder Dorian Bailey, keeping her with the club through the 2027 season.

"I'm so grateful to stay with Bay FC," said Bailey. "The Bay Area has become a place I love, and the support from this community means so much. I'm excited to keep growing with this club and to help us achieve the success our fans deserve."

Bailey was a member of the club's inaugural roster in 2024 after being selected from the Washington Spirit in the 2024 Expansion Draft. She appeared in 27 matches her first season in the Bay Area, logging over 1,700 minutes and tallying one goal and two assists in helping the club to its first-ever postseason berth. In 2025, she has logged 982 minutes across 19 appearances (10 starts).

The Mission, Kansas native began her professional career with Washington in 2019, being selected eighth overall in the 2019 NWSL draft. Across four seasons in the DMV, Bailey recorded 76 regular season appearances with one goal and two assists, helping the club to the 2021 NWSL Championship title and the final of the 2022 Challenge Cup.

Bay FC continues NWSL play this weekend on the road, visiting Portland Thorns FC from Providence Park Oct. 4. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT on ION. Bay FC returns to PayPal Park for its final home match of the 2025 season Friday, Oct. 17 when the North Carolina Courage comes west. Tickets are available at BayFC.com/tickets.
