San Diego Wave FC Midfielder Kenza Dali Named to NWSL Best XI for September

SAN DIEGO - The NWSL announced today that San Diego Wave FC midfielder Kenza Dali has been named to the Best XI, presented by Amazon Prime, for the month of September. The NWSL Best XI is determined by the NWSL Media Association and the NWSL's on-air broadcast talent and includes 11 players across seven teams for the month of September.

Dali earned her spot in the lineup for her strong performances in the Wave's midfield the month, leading the league in chances created (11), completed passes, and successful passes ending in the final third. This is Dali's fourth Best XI honor of the year as she has started and played in every match for the Wave this season (22) and has scored three goals and made two assists.

DEF: Caprice Dydasco (BAY), Carson Pickett (ORL), Kayla Sharples (KC), Janni Thomsen (UTA)

MID: Kenza Dali (SD), Croix Bethune (WAS), Rose Lavelle (GFC)

FOR: Temwa Chawinga (KC), Paige Monaghan (UTA), Trinity Rodman (WAS)

The NWSL Best XI of the Month, presented by Amazon Prime, is selected by the NWSL Media Association, a collection of writers that cover the league on a consistent basis, and the NWSL's on-air broadcast talent. Awards for the month of September are based off performances during the NWSL regular season matches.
