M-M Good: The Tulsa Oilers travel to Missouri and Mississippi this weekend to take on the Mavericks on Friday and RiverKings on Saturday. Both games start at 7:05 p.m. and can be heard on www.tulsaoilers.com and viewed online at CHL TV.

Tough Week: Four games resulted in four losses for the Oilers last week. They played two home and home series against Colorado and Wichita. The Oilers lost 4-1 to Colorado giving up an empty net goal on Tuesday. On Friday in Colorado, lost 2-1 with less than one second left to play in regulation time. Moving on to Wichita, the Oilers overcame a 2-0 deficit before surrendering another empty net goal in a 4-2 loss. On Sunday Wichita jumped all over the Oilers in an 8-0 victory on Halloween.

Roster Moves: It was a busy week of transactions for the Oilers. The Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League recalled goaltender Trevor Cann, and the Oilers then signed goaltender Archie Henderson. Lake Erie also assigned left wing Tom Fritsche to the Oilers. Tulsa also signed left wing Derek Hulak and waived Matt Robertson.

Back In Fold: Gordon Bell returned to the line-up Saturday in Wichita after missing the previous three games. He had a goal and assist in his return to the line-up.

Another Two: Marty Standish also had two points on Saturday, dishing out two assists.

Long Time: Before the Oilers return home again. They will play two more road games after this week before returning home to face the Allen Americans on Thursday November 18th.
