Battle of Alberta Continues this Weekend

After almost two full weeks on the road, the Capitals return home this weekend to continue the never-ending battle of Alberta against the arch-rival Calgary Vipers. The teams are in a heated battle with the Lake County Fielders for first place in the North American League's North Division, so every game between the two teams is important in the standings.
The three-game series at TELUS Field starts Friday with a 7 p.m. game, and it's another edition of Fireworks Fridays presented by 92.5 JOE FM. Come down to the ballpark to watch the Caps light up the Vipers and stick around as we light up the sky with some amazing fireworks right after the final out.
Saturday and Sunday's games are both 2 p.m. afternoon starts, so fans can make the most of the warm, sunny weather in the forecast for the weekend.
Sunday's game is Cheemo Ukrainian Day, featuring a Ukrainian choir singing the Canadian and Ukrainian anthems, Ukrainian announcing, Ukrainian music and the return of the popular Ukrainian food combo - perogies, kielbasa and cabbage rolls for just $5.
Sunday's game is also another edition of Family Pack Sundays presented by Dental Choice and 630 CHED, as fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs and four Pepsi products for just $52. The entire Caps team will also be available for autographs at the third base patio immediately after the game.
The Capitals are the city's most affordable entertainment option in the summer featuring Edmonton's largest patio! Season seats start at less than $9 per seat. Individual game tickets start at $10 in advance and can be purchased at the Capitals Box Office (10233 - 96 Ave) during regular business hours Monday through Friday, at any Ticketmaster location, online at capsbaseball.ca or via phone at 780-414-GOAL (4625).
