Post-game quotes -- RHP T.J. Beam

(on going multiple innings out of the bullpen for the second straight outing)

"I was trying to get myself in a starter's mentality. I felt good both mentally and physically even with going multiple innings. You just need to get yourself in the right state of mind."

(By being taken out after three innings, do you feel like you were being saved for later games?)

"Yeah, especially with the day off tomorrow. I should be ready to go for the home games against Louisville. It's kind of tough when you have a short-handed bullpen. There are only six guys in our bullpen right now, so you have to manage your pitchers like we have been especially with all the substitutions under National League rules."

(on the Tribe's bullpen against Louisville so far this season)

"We have done a half-way decent job on them this season. There relievers have done a good job of mixing up fast balls away and changing up speeds to prevent hitters from sitting dead-red and pulling everything."
