AMARILLO, Texas - After a tough four-game series in Corpus Christi, the Riders opened a weekend set in Amarillo with a resounding 11-4 victory over the Sod Poodles Friday night.

SYNOPSIS

* Frisco capped a big night at the plate with a five-run seventh, punctuated by a two-run homer from Andretty Cordero.

* Down 3-0 after the first, the Riders chipped away at the deficit, eventually taking the lead in the fifth thanks to a two-run double from Charles Leblanc.

* Four Riders hitters collected three hits in Friday's win: Cordero, Michael De Leon, Yonny Hernandez and Tony Sanchez.

KEY RIDERS PERFORMERS

* Michael De Leon: 3-for-4, 2 2B, BB, 3 R

* Tony Sanchez: 3-for-5, 2 RBI

* Charles Leblanc: 2-for-5, 2B, 3 RBI
